Flat rate by serve type — no zones, no perimeter pricing. Fulton County orders include a one-time $25 surcharge (added once per order, not per defendant). Service beyond 20 miles each way from Reliant's Atlanta service hub adds a distance charge for the round-trip excess — it appears on your quote before you pay.

How much does process serving cost in Atlanta, Georgia? +

Reliant Process Solutions uses a flat-rate, serve-type pricing model — no zones, no perimeter tiers. Choose the serve type for your primary defendant: Personal serve $90, Substitute serve at residence $75, Personal serve at workplace $85, Corporate — to Registered Agent or Officer $95, Government Entity $95, or Due-diligence affidavit only $65 (no service ordered). Each additional defendant at the same address is a flat +$50, regardless of serve type. E-filing the signed affidavit of service with the court is a flat $30 — we handle the fee the court charges. Other add-ons: document printing $0.25/page and special handling $75. Speed upgrades: Next-day Rush +$35 or Same-day Rush +$75. Fulton County orders include a one-time $25 surcharge (charged once per order, not per defendant).

What happens if a defendant refuses to accept service in Georgia? +

If a defendant refuses to take the documents, our servers follow standard professional practice for a declined serve — announcing the documents and leaving them with the recipient — and document the interaction with GPS coordinates and photographs. Whether any particular service is valid is for the court to decide; the attempt record we produce is built to inform that decision.

Can you serve papers at someone's workplace in Georgia? +

Yes. Service can be attempted at a defendant's usual place of business when the defendant is present, and our servers handle workplace serves discreetly to keep disruption low. For corporate defendants, service can be made on a registered agent, officer, or managing agent at the place of business. Every workplace serve is GPS-documented and photographed like any other attempt.

Can I request address research? +

Address research is not automatic or guaranteed. It may be considered only for an existing service matter after eligibility, permissible-purpose, evidence, and compliance review. Availability, timing, price, data sources, and any next service step are confirmed separately. Do not submit sensitive subject data through public forms.

Do you file the proof of service with the court? +

Yes — it is the Serve-to-File standard on every order, at a flat $30, and we handle the fee the court charges. Once your server signs the affidavit of service, we e-file it with the court — typically the same day it is signed — and the stamped copy comes to you when the court returns it. We file the affidavit of service only, never pleadings or other case documents. Professional clients who file proof internally can choose serve-and-return instead.

Are your process servers insured and background-checked? +

Yes. Every Reliant Process Solutions server is background-checked, trained on Georgia service of process statutes, and covered under our general liability and errors & omissions (E&O) insurance. Servers work under the court authorization the service county expects — a court appointment or Georgia certification where required — and their documentation quality is reviewed on every order.

What is substituted service and do you offer it? +

Substituted service in Georgia (O.C.G.A. § 9-11-4(e)(7)) means leaving the documents at the defendant's dwelling with a person of suitable age and discretion who resides there. Our servers are trained to identify an appropriate person, collect their information, and document the hand-off fully. Every substituted serve is GPS-stamped and photographed, and that record backs the affidavit of service your server signs.

How much does a process server cost in Atlanta, Georgia for evictions? +

Eviction (dispossessory) service follows the same flat-rate model. Most evictions use the Individual — Personal $90 rate; serves on a corporate entity use Corporate $95. Each additional defendant at the same address is a flat +$50. E-filing your server's signed affidavit of service with the court is a flat $30, with the fee the court charges handled by us. Many property managers add Next-day Rush (+$35) or Same-day Rush (+$75) for tight eviction timelines. Fulton County orders include a one-time $25 surcharge.
